I’m really pleased to share that I’ve been featured in the February issue of Model Engineer & Workshop Magazine!

Late last year, I wrote a 3-page spread for the magazine to make 3D CAD more accessible for hobbyists, makers and engineers, especially those who might be put off by the complexity (or cost) of many modern CAD systems.
My piece includes a beginner’s guide to Alibre Atom3D, including examples and tips to start creating within the software.
I’ve already been producing tutorials on my YouTube channel for a while now, and I was pleased to be offered the opportunity to make a condensed version of those for the magazine!
Hopefully it can provide an entry point to anyone who wants to try 3D CAD.
That thinking has directly fed into a new project I’ve recently launched:
🎓 Atom 3D 101 – an online training course designed to help beginners get started with Atom3D in a clear, step-by-step, practical way.
If you’re curious (or you know someone who might be):
